- Epson Scanners
- Epson America is another scanner manufacturer with a complete line of products.
- Hewlett Packard ScanJets
- Hewlett Packard, more famous for their inkjet and laser printers, also makes the ScanJet
line of scanners. Also a good source of scanning tutorials and reference material.
- Microtek Scanners
- Microtek, another popular maker of scanners.
- Mustek Scanners
- Mustek manufactures a wide variety of scanners, from personal models with USB, parallel or
SCSI connections on up to professional models.

- UMAX Technologies, maker of the Astra line of scanners.

- Previously a division of Xerox, ScanSoft has now merged with the software division of

- ZDNet's TipZone for Scanning provides dozens of tips and FAQs. Loads of great information here.
- Scanner Help
- Scanner Help - Basics 101 is one of this month's Web Sites of the Month. Relatively non
commercial, there is something for everyone here.
- ScanHelp.Com
- ScanHelp.Com, while definitely in business to sell you software, also has a number of
excellent articles discussing the fine points of scanning. Good enough to make you
want to buy software from them.

- The Scanning FAQ is a bit out of date now, but some things about scanning never
change. Check out the How To's, FAQs and Advanced Topics here.
- Scanning Resources
